Elevate your snack game with these deliciously unique air-fried strawberries! Coated in a sweet and tangy balsamic glaze with a warm hint of cinnamon, these strawberries are air fried to perfection. They’re perfect for a healthy on-the-go snack or make a yummy topper for your salad or dessert, bursting with flavor and packed with antioxidants.
Wash your strawberries and pat them dry with a paper towel. Then you want to hull or remove the stems.
Then slice your strawberries about 1/4 inch thick and add them to a bowl.
Add the 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar and 2 tsp cinnamon and stir together until evenly coated.
Take parchment paper and line the basket of your pre-heated air fryer. Place the strawberries in a single layer on the parchment paper to fill the air fryer without overcrowding. *Note you will have to air-fry in batches. If you don't want to do this, cut the recipe amounts in half.
Set the temperature to 180 degrees F for 3 hours. I used the dehydration mode on my air fryer but if you don't have that, the regular air fryer mode will work as well.
At the halfway point turn over your strawberries. They can be quite sticky, so I found using my hands to flip them was easiest.
Even though you set the cooking time for 3 hours, I would check it every hour as every air fryer is different and will have slightly different cooking times. Once they are completely dry (without being burnt) you'll know they are done.
